But they did not listen to me," Noah said, "and followed him whose wealth and children only added to his ruin. 21 "And they have devised a tremendous Plot. 22 and said: 'Do not renounce your gods, do not leave waddan or suwa'an or yaghutha, or ya'uqa, or nasra' 23 "They have already misled many; and grant Thou no increase to the wrong-doers but in straying (from their mark)." 24 Because of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers. 25 And Noah said: My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers in the land. 26 for, behold, if Thou dost leave them, they will [always try to] lead astray those who worship Thee, and will give birth to nothing but wickedness and stubborn ingratitude. 27 O Lord, forgive me, my parents, and any one who enters my house as a believer, and all believing men and women, and do not give the evil-doers increase save in ruin. 28
