Say: "I call on my Lord alone and I do not associate any one with Him." 20 Say, "Indeed, I do not possess for you [the power of] harm or right direction." 21 Say: "No one can deliver me from Allah (If I were to disobey Him), nor should I find refuge except in Him, 22 "Unless I proclaim what I receive from Allah and His Messages: for any that disobey Allah and His Messenger,- for them is Hell: they shall dwell therein for ever." 23 [Let them, then, wait] until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned: for then they will come to understand which [kind of man] is more helpless and counts for less! 24 Say: "I do not know whether that [doom] of which you were forewarned is near, or whether my Sustainer has set for it a distant term." 25 The Knower of the unseen! so He does not reveal His secrets to any, 26 Except to His chosen Noble Messengers – so He appoints guards in front and behind him. (Allah gave the knowledge of the hidden to the Holy Prophet – peace and blessings be upon him.) 27 "That He may know that they have (truly) brought and delivered the Messages of their Lord: and He surrounds (all the mysteries) that are with them, and takes account of every single thing." 28
