The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
O you who covers himself [with a garment], 1 Arise and warn! 2 And your Lord glorify 3 and purify your clothing, 4 And pollution shun. 5 and do not think that by doing such deeds, you have done a great favor to God. 6 Exercise patience to please your Lord. 7 For when the trumpet is sounded, 8 So that is a tough day. 9 and for the disbelievers, in particular, it will not be at all easy. 10 Leave Me and him whom I created alone, 11 And give him vast riches, 12 And children present [with him] 13 And for whom I smoothed everything. 14 Yet he wants that I should give him more. 15 Not at all! Surely, he has been disobedient to Our verses. 16 We shall make him suffer the torment of hell without relief. 17 For lo! he did consider; then he planned - 18 and thus he destroys himself, the way he meditates: 19 What an evil plan he has made! 20 He then dared to lift his gaze. 21 Then he frowned and he scowled; 22 Then he turned back and was big with pride, 23 said, "This (the Quran) is nothing but magic, inherited from ancient magicians. 24 this is nothing but the word of a mere mortal!” 25 I will surely roast him in the Scorching. 26 And what will make you realize what hell is? 27 It does not allow anyone to live, and neither does it leave anyone to die; 28 and it burns the flesh. 29 Over it are appointed nineteen. 30 And We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers,- in order that the People of the Book may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith,- and that no doubts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, "What symbol doth Allah intend by this?" Thus doth Allah leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth: and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind. 31

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
