The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O you enveloped in your cloak! 1 Arise and warn, 2 Thy Lord magnify, 3 cleanse your clothes, 4 And stay away from idols. 5 Do not give, thinking to gain greater 6 Exercise patience to please your Lord. 7 And [warn all men that] when the trumpet-call [of resurrection] is sounded, 8 it will be a hard day 9 For the disbelievers - not easy. 10 Let Me alone with him whom I created lonely. 11 And give him vast riches, 12 And sons dwelling in his presence, 13 whose life I have made run smoothly 14 Yet is he greedy-that I should add (yet more);- 15 No! Indeed, he has been toward Our verses obstinate. 16 I shall oblige him to (climb a slippery mountain in the Hell-fire called As-Sa'ud, or to) face a severe torment! 17 He planned and plotted. 18 and thus he destroys himself, the way he meditates: 19 Yea, Woe to him; How he plotted!- 20 May he be condemned again for his schemes! He looked around, 21 Then he frowned and he scowled; 22 then he retreated and waxed proud, 23 said, "This (the Quran) is nothing but magic, inherited from ancient magicians. 24 This is naught else than speech of mortal man. 25 I will cast him into Hell-fire 26 And what have you understood, what hell is! 27 It neither leaves, nor spares. 28 it scorches the skin; 29 Over it are Nineteen. 30 We have appointed only angels to be wardens of the Fire. We have specified their number only as a trial for those who are bent on denying the truth, so that those who were given the Book might gain in certainty, and those who believe might increase in faith -- and so that neither those who have been given the Scripture nor the believers might have any doubts, and that those sick at heart and those who deny the truth might ask, "What does God mean by this parable?" In this way, God lets go astray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. And none knows the forces of your Lord but He. This is but a Reminder for man. 31

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
