By no means! By the moon, 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They will say: "We were not of those who used to offer their Salat (prayers) 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 Till death overtook us. 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 like frightened donkeys 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
