I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 by the retreating night, 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 Verily it is one of the greatest woes. 35 As a warning unto men, 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 as if they were startled asses 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
