I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 by the retreating night, 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 a warning to humans, 36 whether one steps forward to embrace the faith or one turns away from it. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 Of evil-doers: 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 And so, of no benefit to them could be the intercession of any that would intercede for them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
Almighty God's Truth.
