(Hell will never spare the disbelievers). 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 A warning for people -- 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 No indeed; surely it is a Reminder; 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
