Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 By the night when it withdraweth. 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 Warn the men. 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 concerning the sinners, 41 “What drove you to Hell?” 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 “Till death overcame us.” 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 As if they were startled donkeys – 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out! 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
