No, by the moon! 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Verily, that [hell-fire] is Indeed one of the great [forewarnings] 35 A warning for people -- 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 concerning the sinners, 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 we fed not the needy, 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 until certainty came upon us [in death]." 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 What is the matter with people that they are turning away from this Exhortation, 49 As they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
