By no means! By the moon, 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 A warning for people -- 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 "What has brought you into hell-fire?" 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 "And we used to belie the Day of Recompense 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 What is the matter with them that they turn away from this Reminder, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 running away from a lion? 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 So whoever pleases may mind it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
