Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ By the Day of Resurrection, 1 Nay, I swear by the accusing soul (that this Scripture is true). 2 Does man imagine that We will not be able to bring his bones together again? 3 Yea, verily. We are Able to restore his very fingers! 4 Yet man is sceptical of what is right before him. 5 He asks: “When will the Day of Resurrection be?” 6 but when the sight is dazed 7 And the moon becomes dark, 8 when the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 On that Day shall man say: whither is the fleeing. 10 No indeed; not a refuge! 11 Upon that day the recourse shall be to thy Lord. 12 On that day man is told the tale of that which he hath sent before and left behind. 13 Oh, but man is a telling witness against himself, 14 Although he may put forth his pleas. 15 Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith. 16 Surely its collection and recitation are Our responsibility. 17 And when We have recited it to you [O Muhammad SAW through Jibrael (Gabriel)], then follow you its (the Quran's) recital. 18 then it will be for Us to explain it. 19 Truly, you love immediate gain 20 And leave the Hereafter. 21 On the Day of Judgment some faces will be bright, 22 Looking toward their Lord. 23 and some faces will on that Day be overcast with despair, 24 Thou wilt know that some great disaster is about to fall on them. 25 Yes indeed, when the soul will reach up to the throat. 26 And it is cried. who can charm? 27 the while he [himself] knows that this is the parting, 28 And one shin will curl up with the other shin. 29 Unto thy Lord that day will be the driving. 30

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
تشير بداية ونهاية كل سورة الى السور المنزلة قبلها و بعدها. يمكنك الضغط على أي منها للذهاب إليها.
The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there.
