Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ I CALL TO WITNESS the Day of Resurrection, 1 And I do call to witness the self-reproaching spirit: (Eschew Evil). 2 Do men think that We shall never be able to assemble their bones? 3 Surely yes, why not? We can properly make all his phalanxes. 4 In fact man wishes to commit evil in front of Him! 5 He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?" 6 When the sight is dazed, 7 And the moon becomes dark, 8 And the sun and the moon are joined, 9 Man shall say on that day: Whither to fly to? 10 But nay: no refuge [for thee, O man]! 11 With thy Sustainer, on that Day, the journey's end will be! 12 On that day, man will be informed of all what he sent ahead and left behind. 13 In fact man is a witness against himself, 14 even though he may veil himself in excuses. 15 (Muhammad), do not move your tongue too quickly to recite the Quran. 16 for, behold, it is for Us to gather it [in thy heart,] and to cause it to be read [as it ought to be read]. 17 And when We have recited it to you [O Muhammad SAW through Jibrael (Gabriel)], then follow you its (the Quran's) recital. 18 Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear): 19 Nay, but ye do love the fleeting Now 20 And you have forsaken the Hereafter. 21 (Some) faces on that day shall be bright, 22 Looking toward their Lord; 23 and upon that day faces shall be scowling, 24 Thou wilt know that some great disaster is about to fall on them. 25 But when [man's soul] reaches the throat, 26 and people ask, "Is there any wizard [that could save him]?" 27 and he knows that it is the time of parting; 28 And anguish will be heaped upon anguish: 29 The drive will be, on that Day, to your Lord (Allah)! 30

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
