The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Indeed, there came upon the human a period of time when he was an unremembered thing. 1 Verily, We have created man from Nutfah drops of mixed semen (discharge of man and woman), in order to try him, so We made him hearer, seer. 2 We showed him the right path whether he would be grateful or ungrateful. 3 Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze. 4 Surely the pious shall drink of a cup whose mixture is camphor, 5 A spring of which the [righteous] servants of Allah will drink; they will make it gush forth in force [and abundance]. 6 They (are those who) fulfill (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil will be wide-spreading. 7 And out of His love, they give food to the needy, the orphan and the prisoner. 8 (saying): 'We feed you only desirous of the Face of Allah; we seek of you neither recompense nor thanks, 9 for we fear from our Lord a frowning day, inauspicious. 10 Therefor Allah hath warded off from them the evil of that day, and hath made them find brightness and joy; 11 and their reward for being patient will be a Garden and silk [clothing]. 12 There they will recline on elevated couches and will be subjected neither to the burning heat of the sun nor to bitter cold. 13 And the shade thereof is close upon them, and the bunches of fruit thereof will hang low within their reach. 14 They will be served with silver dishes and crystal clear goblets. 15 Glass made from silver, which the servers have filled up to the measure. 16 And they shall be made to drink therein a cup the admixture of which shall be ginger, 17 therein a fountain whose name is called Salsabil. 18 ۞ And round about them shall go youths never altering in age; when you see them you will think them to be scattered pearls. 19 when thou seest them then thou seest bliss and a great kingdom. 20 Upon them there will be garments of green silk, rich brocade, and they will be adorned with bracelets of silver. Their Lord will give them a pure beverage to drink. 21 This will be their reward and their efforts will be appreciated. 22

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
