The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
There was certainly a time when there was no mention of the human being. 1 Indeed, We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing. 2 Indeed, We have guided him to the path, he is either grateful or ungrateful. 3 [Now,] behold, for those who deny the truth We have readied chains and shackles, and a blazing flame 4 Surely the devotees will drink cups flavoured with palm blossoms 5 a source [of bliss] whereof God's servants shall drink, seeing it flow in a flow abundant. 6 (Because) they perform the vow and fear a day whereof the evil is wide-spreading, 7 they give food, for the love of Him, to the needy, the orphan, the captive: 8 'We feed you only for the Face of God; we desire no recompense from you, no thankfulness; 9 "We only fear a Day of distressful Wrath from the side of our Lord." 10 So God has guarded them from the evil of that day, and has procured them radiancy and gladness, 11 and will reward them for their steadfastness with Paradise and robes of silk. 12 Reclining in the (Garden) on raised thrones, they will see there neither the sun's (excessive heat) nor (the moon's) excessive cold. 13 since its [blissful] shades will come down low over them, and low will hang down its clusters of fruit, most easy to reach. 14 And there shall be made to go round about them vessels of silver and goblets which are of glass, 15 Godblets of silver, they shall have filled them to exact measure. 16 There will they drink a cup flavoured with ginger 17 Which is a spring in Paradise called Salsabeel. 18 ۞ And round about them will (serve) boys of everlasting youth. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls. 19 wherever you look, you will see bliss and a great kingdom: 20 Upon those [blest] will be garments of green silk and brocade; and they will be adorned with bracelets of silver. And their Sustainer will them to drink of a drink most pure. 21 This will be their reward and their efforts will be appreciated. 22

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
