The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
There was certainly a time when there was no mention of the human being. 1 Verily, We have created man from Nutfah drops of mixed semen (discharge of man and woman), in order to try him, so We made him hearer, seer. 2 We surely showed him the way that he may either be grateful or deny. 3 Lo! We have prepared for disbelievers manacles and carcans and a raging fire. 4 Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of Kafur, 5 which flows from a spring from which the servants of God will drink. 6 They (are those who) fulfill (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil will be wide-spreading. 7 they give food, for the love of Him, to the needy, the orphan, the captive: 8 'We feed you only for the Face of God; we desire no recompense from you, no thankfulness; 9 Lo! we fear from our Lord a day of frowning and of fate. 10 But Allah will deliver them from the evil of that Day, and will shed over them a Light of Beauty and (blissful) Joy. 11 and will reward them for their steadfastness with Paradise and robes of silk. 12 They will recline therein on couches and they will find neither excessive heat nor cold. 13 since its [blissful] shades will come down low over them, and low will hang down its clusters of fruit, most easy to reach. 14 Passed round will be silver flagons and goblets made of glass, 15 crystal-like, [but] of silver - the measure whereof they alone will determine. 16 They will drink cups containing (soft flowing) sparkling water 17 therein a fountain whose name is called Salsabil. 18 ۞ They will be attended by youths who will not age -- when you see them you will think them to be like sprinkled pearls -- 19 And when thou lookest them thou shalt behold delight and a dominion magnificent. 20 they will wear green garments of fine silk and rich brocade. They will be adorned with silver bracelets. And their Lord will give them a pure drink. 21 Surely this is a reward for you, and your striving shall be recompensed. 22

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
