(Muhammad), We have revealed the Quran to you in gradual steps. 23 Await, then, in all patience thy Sustainer's judgment, and pay no heed to any of them, who is a wilful sinner or an ingrate; 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 And during the night prostrate to Him and exalt Him a long [part of the] night. 26 Verily! These (disbelievers) love the present life of this world, and put behind them a heavy Day (that will be hard). 27 We created them and fixed their bones and joints; and We could replace them when We like with others like them. 28 Verily this is an admonition; then whosoever will, may choose a way unto his Lord. 29 But your willing shall be of no avail until Allah Himself so wills. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, Most Wise. 30 He admits whosoever He will to His benevolence. But for the evil-doers He has prepared a painful punishment. 31
