Al-Insan 2 of 2
(Muhammad), We have revealed the Quran to you in gradual steps. 23 Therefore wait patiently for the command of your Lord, and obey not from among them a sinner or an ungrateful one. 24 and bear in mind thy Sustainer's name at morn and evening 25 And bow in homage part of the night, and glorify Him far into the night. 26 Those people [who are unmindful of God] aspire for immediate gains, and put behind them a Heavy Day. 27 We created them and strengthened their joints; and whenever We wish, We can change their faces entirely. 28 This chapter is a reminder. Let those who want, seek guidance from their Lord. 29 But you will not unless God wills; surely God is ever All-knowing, All-wise. 30 He admits to His mercy whomever He wants. For the unjust He has prepared a painful punishment. 31
