Surely We have sent down the Koran on thee, a sending down; 23 Wherefore persevere thou with the commandment of thy Lord, and obey not thou of them, any sinner or ingrate. 24 And remember the Name of thy Lord at dawn and in the evening 25 and during some of the night, and prostrate thyself before Him, and extol His limitless glory throughout the long night. 26 Indeed, these love the hasty life, and are heedless and leave behind them a heavy Day. 27 [They will not admit to themselves that] it We who have created them and strengthened their make - and [that] if it be Our will We can replace them entirely with others of their kind. 28 This surely is a reminder: Therefore whosoever desires may take the way to his Lord. 29 Yet ye will not, unless Allah willeth. Lo! Allah is Knower, Wise. 30 He is Merciful to whom He will; but, for the harmdoers He has prepared for them a painful punishment. 31
