It is We Who have sent down the Qur'an to thee by stages. 23 So persevere with the command of your Lord and do not pay any heed to the wicked and the unbelieving, 24 Meditate upon the name of your Lord morning and evening; 25 and part of the night; bow down before Him and magnify Him through the long night. 26 Behold, they [who are unmindful of God] love this fleeting life, and leave behind them [all thought of] a grief-laden Day. 27 [They will not admit to themselves that] it We who have created them and strengthened their make - and [that] if it be Our will We can replace them entirely with others of their kind. 28 This surely is a reminder: Therefore whosoever desires may take the way to his Lord. 29 And you do not please except that Allah please, surely Allah is Knowing, Wise; 30 He admits to His mercy whomever He wants. For the unjust He has prepared a painful punishment. 31
