Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 for the living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
