Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
