Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And those that strike violently, 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 For a known extent. 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
