Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 The living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
