Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 storming tempestuously 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 until an appointed time? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 The living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
