In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 excusing or warning, 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 The living and the dead, 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
