In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
