Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the emissary winds, sent one after another (for men's benefit), 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 To the day of decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 For a known term? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
