Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 excusing or warning, 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 The living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
