Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 By way of excuse or warning. 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
