Surely for the godfearing awaits a place of security, 31 and gardens and vineyards, 32 And graceful maidens of the same age, 33 And a cup full (to the brim). 34 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, nor any falsehood; 35 all this will be a recompense, a gift, that will suffice them, from your Lord, 36 from the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of that which is between them; the Most Merciful Lord before Whom none dare utter a word. 37 On that Day, when the Spirit (Gabriel) and the angels stand in ranks they shall not speak, except he to whom the Merciful has given permission, and says what is right. 38 That is without doubt the True Day, so, whosoever wills, let him seek a place with (or a way to) His Lord (by obeying Him in this worldly life)! 39 We warn you of a punishment that has come near; a day on which man will see what his own hands have sent ahead, and the disbeliever will say, “Alas – if only I were dust!” 40
