The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By oath of those who harshly pull out the soul. (Of the disbeliever) 1 by the drawers (the angels of death), gently drawing (the souls of the believers), 2 And by those that swim along (i.e. angels or planets in their orbits, etc.). 3 by the angels who hasten along 4 and by the angels who regulate the affairs, (you will certainly be resurrected). 5 On the Day, the shiverer shivers 6 to be followed by further [convulsions], 7 Hearts, that Day, will tremble, 8 Cast down will be (their owners') eyes. 9 They say: “Shall we indeed be restored to life, 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 They shall say, 'That then were a losing return!' 12 Surely it will need but one shout, 13 When lo! they shall be wakeful. 14 HAS THE STORY of Moses ever come within thy ken. 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 and directed him: “Go to Pharaoh, he has rebelled, 17 And say to him: "Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)", 18 Then I shall guide thee unto thy Lord so that thou shalt fear. 19 So Moosa showed him a magnificent sign. 20 But (Pharaoh) rejected it and disobeyed (guidance); 21 Then he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). 22 Then he gathered his people and cried aloud, 23 And said, "I am your most exalted lord." 24 So God seized him for the punishment of the Hereafter and this world. 25 Surely, in this there is a lesson for he that fears! 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
