The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the (angels) who tear out (the souls of the wicked) with violence; 1 and gently take it away; 2 and by [the clouds] that swim serenely and 3 Then those who are foremost going ahead, 4 and then manage the affairs of the Universe (according to their Lord's commands). 5 The Day when the quaking will cause a violent convulsion, 6 Followed by the second blast, 7 hearts upon that day shall be athrob 8 and their eyes will be humbled. 9 They say: Shall we indeed be restored to (our) first state? 10 What, when we are bones old and wasted?' 11 They say: "Then this returning will be a dead loss." 12 [But,] then, that [Last Hour] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry 13 And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface. 14 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa! 15 When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 "Go to the Pharaoh who has become refractory, 17 and say to him: 'Are you willing to be purified, 18 I shall guide you to your Lord so that you may perhaps have fear of Him". 19 So Moosa showed him a magnificent sign. 20 But (Pharaoh) rejected it and disobeyed (guidance); 21 Then he turned away, deliberating, 22 and gathered his people together 23 “I am the supreme lord of you all.” 24 you pay attention 25 Verily herein is lesson for him who feareth. 26
