[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Those who have rebelled 37 and preferred the present life, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
