[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised the height thereof and ordered it; 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
