Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 then as for whosoever was insolent 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 Wherein art thou (concerned) with the declaration thereof? 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
