What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
