[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they see it, they will feel as if they had tarried in this world for only one evening or one morning. 46
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
