Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
