Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 Those who have rebelled 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? You are not bound to tell them. 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
