[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
