Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
