Is it harder to create you or the heaven? But Allah built it, 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Those who have rebelled 37 And preferred the life of the world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
