Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Those who have rebelled 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
