Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 And the mountains, He made them firm, 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 preferring the present life, 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
