What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They ask you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) about the Hour, - when will be its appointed time? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
