He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 that the blind man came to him. 2 And what would make you know that he would purify himself, 3 Or be admonished, and the admonition profit him? 4 As for him who thinketh himself independent, 5 you attended to him, 6 Yet it is not thy concern if he grow not (in grace). 7 but as for one who comes to you, eagerly 8 and fearfully, 9 of him you were unmindful. 10 By no means (should it be so)! For it is indeed a Message of instruction: 11 and so, whoever is willing may remember Him 12 It is contained in scrolls highly honoured, 13 exalted, purified, 14 by the hands of the noble, virtuous, 15 Noble and righteous. 16 Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he. 17 Out of what did Allah create him? 18 From a drop of liquid; He created him and then set several measures for him. 19 Then He makes the Path easy for him; 20 Then He causes him to die and be buried. 21 Then when He pleases, He will bring him back to life. 22 But no. He has not fulfilled what was enjoined on him. 23 So man must look at his food. 24 For that We pour forth water in abundance, 25 And We split the earth in fragments, 26 and thereupon We cause grain to grow out of it, 27 and vines and edible plants, 28 and olive trees and date-palms, 29 And enclosed Gardens, dense with lofty trees, 30 and fruits and pastures 31 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 32 But when the deafening blast is sounded, 33 The day on which a man shall fly from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father, 35 And from his wife and sons. 36 Everyone on that Day will have affairs to keep him occupied. 37 on that Day some faces will be beaming, 38 laughing and joyful, 39 And [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust. 40 o'erspread with darkness -- 41 They will be the unbelievers, transgressors. 42
God the Almighty always says the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
