He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ HE FROWNED and turned away 1 because the blind man approached him! 2 How canst thou know, whether haply he might be cleansed, 3 Or take heed and so the reminder might avail him? 4 As for he who is sufficed 5 Unto him thou payest regard. 6 though it is not thy concern, if he does not cleanse himself. 7 And as for him who cometh unto thee running, 8 and in awe of God 9 Him thou neglectest! 10 No indeed; this is only a Reminder. 11 So whoever wishes may remember it. 12 (This Quran) is also recorded in honorable books, 13 exalted and purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 Noble, virtuous. 16 Woe to man! How ungrateful he is! 17 From what substance did He create him? 18 From a single sperm He created, then proportioned him, 19 He makes his path easy for him. 20 then makes him to die, and buries him, 21 Then when He listeth, He shall raise him to life. 22 Nay, but man did not fulfil what Allah had enjoined upon him. 23 So let man just consider his food: 24 That We pour forth water in abundance, 25 Then split the earth in clefts 26 We make the grain grow out of it, 27 And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle), 28 And Olives and Dates, 29 thickly planted gardens, 30 And fruit and grass - 31 for you and for your herds to delight in. 32 At length, when there comes the Deafening Noise,- 33 On the Day a man will flee from his brother 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 And his wife and his sons; 36 Everyone on that Day will have affairs to keep him occupied. 37 Faces on that Day shall be beaming, 38 laughing and joyous 39 Some faces on that Day shall be dust-ridden, 40 Veiled in darkness, 41 those -- they are the unbelievers, the libertines. 42
Almighty God's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
