He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man, [interrupting]. 2 And what would make you know that he would purify himself, 3 Or that he might receive admonition, and the teaching might profit him? 4 But the self-sufficient, 5 To him you attend; 6 And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified. 7 but as for him who came unto thee full of eagerness 8 And he feareth 9 You neglect. 10 Assuredly this is a reminder 11 So whoever wills may remember it. 12 [It is recorded] in honored sheets, 13 Exalted and purified, 14 [borne] by the hands of messengers 15 Noble and pious. 16 Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he. 17 From what has God created him? 18 Out of a drop of sperm He creates him, and thereupon determines his nature, 19 Then He eased the way for him; 20 Then gave him death, so had him put in the grave. 21 Then when He pleases, He will bring him back to life. 22 Nay, but [man] has never yet fulfilled what He has enjoined upon him! 23 Then let mankind look at his food - 24 It is We Who pour forth water, pouring, 25 and then We cleave the earth [with new growth,] cleaving it asunder, 26 And caused to grow within it grain 27 And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle), 28 And the olive and the palm, 29 And gardens of dense shrubbery 30 And fruit and grass - 31 all this as a provision for you and your cattle. 32 But when the deafening blast is sounded, 33 On the day when a man fleeth from his brother 34 And his mother and his father 35 his wife and his sons: 36 Each man will have enough cares that day. 37 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 38 laughing, joyous; 39 And many will be dust-begrimed, 40 Dust shall cover them 41 These are they who are unbelievers, the wicked. 42
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color. Pages diversely generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice. The Quran is the conclusive Final Testament of the One and Only God for all people of all colors and shapes.
