He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because a blind man came to him. 2 You never know. Perhaps he wanted to purify himself, 3 or take heed and derive benefit from [Our] warning? 4 As for he who thinks himself without need, 5 to a rich man, 6 What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief, you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allah). 7 But as to him who came to you running. 8 and in awe of God 9 to him thou payest no heed. 10 Assuredly this is a reminder 11 So whosoever willeth - let him be admonished therewlth. 12 in [the light of His] revelations blest with dignity, 13 uplifted, purified, 14 In the hands of scribes 15 Honourable and Virtuous. 16 Perish the human! How unthankful he is! 17 From what has God created him? 18 From a sperm-drop: He hath created him, and then mouldeth him in due proportions; 19 then the way eased for him, 20 and in the end He causes him to die and brings him to the grave; 21 Then when He pleases, He will bring him back to life. 22 By no means he performed not that which He had commanded him. 23 Let man look at his food: 24 That We pour forth water in abundance, 25 Then We cleave the earth, cleaving (it) asunder, 26 And produce therein corn, 27 and vines, and reeds, 28 And olive and palm trees 29 and gardens dense with foliage, 30 and fruits and fodder 31 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 32 So when the deafening Shout arrives, 33 Man will fly from his brother, 34 and his mother and his father; 35 and from his spouse and his children: 36 For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him. 37 Many faces will that day be bright, 38 laughing, joyous; 39 And other faces, on that day, with dust upon them, 40 with darkness overspread: 41 Such will be the Rejecters of Allah, the doers of iniquity. 42
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
